The Rolling Stones’ Bill Wyman has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. A press release from the band said:

He is undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery, as it was caught in the early stages. The Wyman family has asked for their privacy during this time.

The cancer was caught early, sources say, and he is expected to “make a full recovery.”

  • Sir George Martin, producer and composer, passed away on March 8, 2016. Martin was most notably the Beatles’ producer and was often credited as the “fifth Beatle.” He passed away in his sleep; the cause of his death remains unknown, although he had reportedly had some health problems in the past few years.
  • Keith Emerson, keyboardist and founder of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, passed away on March 11. The Daily Mail reported on March 12 that Emerson commit suicide because of his decreasing ability to play keyboards due to nerve damage.
