1. Neil Young has released a new song, “Children of Destiny,” with band Promise of the Real. The song is available for download through digital music retailers.

 

2. Ringo Starr’s next album, Give More Love, will be released September 15. The announcement came on July 7, Starr’s 77th birthday.

3. The Claypool Lennon Delirium, comprised of Les Claypool and Sean Lennon, will release an EP on August 4 called Lime and Limpid Green. The EP will feature covers of King Crimson, Pink Floyd, and the Who (below).

 

4. Carole King’s performance of her 1971 album Tapestry at London’s Hyde Park in 2016 is being shown in theaters for one night only next month. Tickets are available on the event website.

 

5. Black Sabbath’s final concert will be screened in theaters worldwide on September 28.
