Albums, singles, and tours
- Just after the conclusion of their “Fare Thee Well” tour, three members of the Grateful Dead have decided to continue on the road. They will now be touring with singer and guitarist John Mayer under the name Dead & Company, and will attempt to keep ticket prices lower than the extravagant prices garnered by the “Fare Thee Well” shows.
- Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, are releasing an album as the Hollywood Vampires. They will be accompanied by the likes of Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, AC/DC’s Brian Johnson, Slash, the Doors’ Robby Krieger, and more. The album, which will primarily be made up of covers, features a spoken word vocal provided by the late actor Christopher Lee, recorded before his passing.
