The Adventures of Mr. Schneider: Issue #23

Mr. Schneider is the dummy that lives with the Monkees in their swingin’ ’60s pad. While the TV show documented the adventures of Mike, Micky, Peter, and Davy, did anyone ever wonder what Mr. Schneider might’ve gotten up to while the boys were out and about? “The Adventures of Mr. Schneider” at long last reveals the ginger dummy’s secret life.

Because he can never stay far away from his pals the Monkees for too long, Mr. Schneider follows the Pre-Fab four to England while they hang out with the actual Fab Four during the recording of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band (and also while Micky also draws inspiration from Brit pop culture to write “Randy Scouse Git”). Here are Micky and Paul having a casual chat, while Schneider sneaks in a little photo bomb, circa 1967. Boy, that Micky sure can change his hair fast! Perhaps it’s the damp English weather straightening his curls?
